Play Day Game Formats

Honest John

Honest John is a golf game where players predict their final score before the round begins, and the player whose actual score is closest to their prediction wins a pot of money. It's a side bet for a group of golfers and is a great option for players of varying skill
levels.

Bring $1 to put in the pot.

Hard Nine

Honest John is a game where your score is nine highest handicapped holes (hardest holes) on the golf course.

Ghost Holes

Ghost Holes is a golf game where before start of play, each player choses one hole on the front nine and one hole on the back nine to knock out of their final score.

Criss Cross

Criss Cross is a golf scoring  game where players compare their score on a front nine hole with the score on the corresponding back nine hole (e.g., hole 1 vs. hole 10, hole 2 vs. hole 11). The lower score from each pair is then added up to create a final score for the "criss cross" 9 holes.

Odds & Evens

Odds and Evens is a golf game where your final score is the score of the odds on the front nine and the evens on the back nine or vice versa.

Mutt and Jeff

Mutt and Jeff is a golf game where only the scores on par-3 and par-5 holes count, with par-4 scores being ignored. Players calculate their net scores on the par-3 and par-5 holes, and the player with the lowest total on those specific holes wins the game.

No Putts

No putts counts only the strokes it took to get to the green.

Cha Cha Cha

Cha Cha Cha is a team format where the number of best scores counted per hole rotates in a 1-2-3 pattern over three-hole increments. On "cha" holes (the first of the rotation), only the lowest score counts; on "cha-cha" holes, the two lowest scores count; and on "cha-cha-cha" holes, the three lowest scores count. This sequence repeats for all 18 holes, and the team with the lowest overall score at the end wins.

Par 3 Mini Tournament

All holes on the course are set up as par 3s.  All holes will be shortened to a reachable distance as a par 3.  There will be markers on the course where the tee boxes are set up.

Blind Partners

Blind Partners is a golf game where partners are randomly drawn after play.  The best net score of partners are the winners.

3's, 4's & 5's

Your score will be your best 3 par 3 holes, your best 4 par 4 holes and your best 2 par 5 holes.
